Elevator Pitch Punch List

1. Instead of telling the number of locations your company has, tell a story of a client you've helped.

2. Instead of explaining how much you enjoy owning or working for your company, tell a before and after result you helped your client achieve.

3. Instead of listing multiple services you offer, pick one and tell your best client story surrounding that service.

4. Know how long your prepared Elevator Pitch is, and adjust if necessary so you don't go over your allotted time.

5. Tell the room WHO you are looking for.

6. Practice Practice Practice so you sound polished and confident.

7. For the extremely nervous, start short and sweet and work up to filling the entire minute with how you help clients. One sentence well delivered is more memorable than eight sentences sloppily assembled and vague.
